False equivalence between Milo and Bernie Sanders

It is a common tactic for authoritarians and their sympathizers to draw false equivalence to lend normalcy and even victim status to authoritarian policies and/or bigotry. Obviously, someone who wants government subsidized welfare for the poor, aged, ill, etc, has some important and significant differences between one who repeatedly solicited white nationalists, such as American Renaissance editor Devin Saucier, for story ideas and editing suggestions during his tenure at Breitbart.
